Key pins skip
Key pins skip
im really stuck on the key pins puzzle and when i go to skip it i dont kno where to find the number to put in could someone plz help!!!
To skip a puzzle, first find the Strategy Guide. (Depending on where you got the game, you may already have it - otherwise, you can find it in the Hanako Secrets forum from the main forum index.)
In the strategy guide, look up the section on cheats to find out how to enter a skip code. Then read the section on the individual puzzle you're trying to skip. At the end of the hints, you will find a code number - you have to highlight it to read it.
With the information on how to enter the skip code and the code number together, you can skip the puzzle. It takes a little work to do so that you have incentive to try the puzzle first, but you can skip it if you're stuck.

Help with this puzzle
Maybe this will help without skipping. The pins must be in the correct place to unlock the next pin. For example. Move the first pin up once to unlock the second pin.
Now, the second pin becomes the first pin, so move the second pin up once. The pin closest to the key is the pin you always change (the first pin). Move it up twice. The third pin should be unlocked. Shift the pin locations right (So the 3rd pin moves up once, the 2nd up twice). The first pin, closest to the key, is the pin you must move to unlock the 4th pin. Get it? After unlocking a pin, shift the pattern to the right, so the first pin is always the pin you have to figure out the position. The puzzle is one of the harder ones. Make sure you remember the pin positions exactly when you shift them. I wrote it down as I unlocked the pins.

Hi Hi369,
I'm partially understanding you help and I want to follow it, but
You say...
"After unlocking a pin, shift the pattern to the right, so the first pin is always the pin you have to figure out the position."
How do I shift the pattern to the right ?
That is what I cannot figure out how to do. More help would be appreciated.
Never mind, I finally figured it out. START the pattern all over with/from one pin to the right.
Thank You, Ms Holly Belle
