I know that on PC, you need to hit F10 in order to input cheat codes, but that doesn't work with the Mac version. How can I do it?
Thanks in advance.

The Tab key should also get you into cheats on Mac (and Linux).
(At least some Mac laptops default to remapping the function keys to hardware controls; you should be able to force them to be treated as real function keys by holding down Fn.)

Thanks again!
Edit: Oh dear! I can get the cheat input bar alright, but the codes I type in don't work!

Which cheat codes aren't working?
If you're trying to use cheats from the Windows version, you need to use 'g.something' instead of 'global.something'.
