How to kill a Dad?
How to kill a Dad?
I have never been able to start a civil war or kill my dad (no matter how hard I try) so I do not know half the story line.
For some reason I can't help but be a good queen.

To kill your dear old Dad, you need to either not be a Lumen when Togami arrives or have very, very low Lumen stats. Agree to his duel and your Dad will intervene on your behalf and get himself killed in the process.
Note that you can still die on this path if your composure isn't high enough.
For civil war, upset the nobility. Have Novan history of 20+ when the Ixonite delegation arrives and punish the Duchess of Hellas. Raise taxes, and generally do badly at the ball (ie. fail the composure/elegance/presence/decoration check at the start, have low flattery and court manners, dance badly). Send the heir to Elath to Arisse. That should be enough to trigger it.

Sending the boy to Arisse is actually one of the safer choices as far as the noble approval rating goes - the dangerous bit of it is that it gives her control over Elath and makes her that much more likely to *win* the civil war if it happens.
If you want to make Arisse mad, give the boy to his grandfather (which will often, though not always, get him killed) or to your own uncle, which looks like a power play on your part.
Politics!

You either give away the province when the Ixionites attack, or punish Brin by making her a commoner or executing her. Banion will be angry and insult you during the gala, upon which you have the option to execute him, but it is difficult to execute him because he'll attempt to use his public speaking skillz to wow the nobles to his side, so there's a possibility your game may end right then and there if you aren't charming enough to wow the people back to your side and execute Banion for trying to lead a rebellion.ark99k wrote:Wait how do you kill Banion?!Kirroha wrote:Is it just me, or does ordering Banion's execution and succeeding raise your cruelty by a ton?
There are many ways to win it (by "win", you mean not losing the game there and then, right?)
- Win it the brute force way - war. Make sure you're good enough to win at that point, though.
- Take Briony hostage and negotiate. For best results, have high enough cruelty + presence and choose the third option so that they never can come back to bother you ever again.
- Have high enough public speaking and conversation, then negotiate with them, agreeing to marry Arisse's son and take her in as an advisor.
- Have high enough intrigue and when your dad asks you what you want to send agents for, say noble plots. Then choose to assassinate Arisse.
- I'm sure there are other ways, too.
