Updating error

I saw that there was an updated version for the game as my current version is 1.0.13 (never upgraded), so I went into my game and went to updater and put in my registration key, but it says http error : invalid registration key.
Is there a reason why?

... most likely that you typed it wrong?

Make sure you're not using the Product ID or your email address or anything like that. Your registration key should be in your original download email. If you've lost that receipt, you should contact us privately so we can look up your records.
