Koenchu! The Tale of the Voice Actress

You, The Sky, and That Summer
IIRC, this is a story about a boy who wants to be a voice actor, and when he tries to study for that career, meets a bunch of girls. It is an original Japanese production which is also available in English and Spanish
, and has English and Japanese voice acting. Which makes it a pretty big download. The circle also sells CDs but only at conventions as far as I know.
More information, screenshots, and demo available here.

Does anyone know anything about this game? Specifically, I played the demo version, and although it seemed interesting, it also seemed to be...not the best quality, for the price they're asking. ($25.00, everywhere I've seen.) Some of the text seemed really wonky and kind of Engrish-y, and I noticed quite a few audio glitches. The story seemed interesting, but not gripping enough, as of the end of the demo, to make me want to immediately plunk down the cash to continue playing.
On the other hand, the art was very pretty, and I enjoyed the mini-games. It doesn't take a lot to make me love a game like this, as long as the characters are compelling, or at least likeable.
I guess, really, what I want to know is, do you think this game worth buying the full version? Is the story interesting? How long is it? I'm really on the fence about whether to spend my money on Koenchu. Any thoughts that could help sway me to one side or the other would be appreciated.
EDIT: If it helps, I'm a fan of a game with lots of stuff for me to do, whether that be making choices, raising stats, or playing mini-games. I can get bored with a VN that has lengthy blocks of text with no player involvement (unless the story is excellent). What kind of game is this?

$25? The DLsite link says $7.83 for me... I think it may be on one-month sale for that, I'm not sure.
I haven't personally played it so I can't give you any more info though.

DarthSnuggles, from what I've read on the lemmasoft forum topic, most people had the same impressions as you. It sounds like those that have played the full game just didn't find it very gripping, and although people have offered to be editors for it I think no one from the team took them up on it?
I've only played the demo as well, but I personally found it boring. It seemed like they spent so much time trying to make it multilanguage and voiced that the main focus was that over story.

Here is the Lemmasoft topic if you want to read what others have said there on it.
