What visual novels will i like if i love fatal hearts?

#1 Post by jecht69 » Tue Dec 07, 2010 5:27 pm

i'll have a credit card very soon, which means i'll be able to buy some new awesome visual novels. My friend copied fatal hearts onto my computer, and i seriously love it. What other visual novels are there that are a bit sci-fi/fantasy like fatal hearts? and has several different endings? (cant ask my friend because he doesn't even like visual novels, not even fatal hearts) thanks in advance!

I'd suggest trying Date Warp and Aoi Shiro. That last one is not officially available in English but there is a translation patch for it, check this forum topic for more information.

Also Ever 17 if you can find a copy, because it's awesome, but I believe it's out of print and hard to find.

Bionic Heart is fun and has a lot of endings, but it's got a very different feel to it. Try the demo on that one to see if you like it.

I just want to bump this thread. There must be more suggestions! Fatal Hearts is hands down the best visual novel I've ever played. The only other one that comes close is Cinders.

Are there other VNs out there with a strong, cohesive story and very divergent early branching?

Definetly Aoi Shiro.

There's also Akai Ito which is closer still tho there isnt an english patch for the game, the english script has been published online.

Tsukihime is similiar but told from a male perspective.
