say hello and say goodbye riddle

can anyone tell me what does this riddle mean "say hello and we'll say goodbye" I cant get out of this stage...

Basically what it's asking is for you to spell out the word hello using the numbers of the phone.

Some numbers look a little bit like letters, especially upside-down.
