Really loving the Wolf Hall beta so far!! I haven't run into too many bugs yet, and I think all the ones I have have already been reported here. Although with the Raven library diary entry, when that scene happened, it actually did happen twice, which I assumed was why it then got recorded in my diary twice.
More generally about the gameplay, it feels a little frustrating that there doesn't seem to be much benefit plot-wise or mechanics-wise to be a generalist instead of a specialist; that's what I did my first playthrough and I found myself stuck with no means of success in exam 3, despite having at least 10 points in all magics and 15ish in my favorite colors (blue and white). I seem to be failing a lot at classes and studying, too, starting when my stress is above 10, and sometimes even when it's below that. If stress goes above 15 I fail more than I succeed. I feel like the stress threshold should be higher than that, especially since the MC is apparently a prince of some sort
. You'd think he'd be used to needing to succeed under much higher stress levels!
Has anyone found yet if there's a way to become student council president without making the deal with Minnie
? I've been trying a lot of different things and haven't managed it yet. EDIT:
This got answered while I was typing this lol! Too bad it's not possible right now, I'd really like to be able to win it, or even start getting brownie points with classmates at the beginning of the school year like Minnie does. I liked Minnie in the first game, but thus far in WH I'm really meh on her. This is very YMMV but for me, her winning student council president no matter what isn't enjoyable. It made sense in HH, because the MC wasn't able to run and her opponent was no competition, but if I can compete against her, I want to be able to win!!
(Maybe because I'm kind of a competitive person myself, lol.)
I hope Blaise and Taranis will both be voting options for the additional romances! I adore
Blaise, and I can't help but want to learn more about Taranis after the narrative keeps emphasizing that MC should avoid him!
