Went ahead and purchased it again. Is just that awesome!
Re: LLTQ now out on Steam!
Do the people who bought it before have to buy it again if they want the one from Steam?

No, we don't.
As the mail from the Hanako Game's newsletter says, you only have to paste your license key into the webpage prepared for you to get the steam copy ^^
Email:
Congratulations on getting the game on steam! Long Live the Queen!!

Email:
I myself have already done it. But that's not gonna stop me from gifting this AWESOME game to a few of my friends!! ^________^The latest version of the game is now available for purchase on Steam, complete with bonus content, 39 achievements, and even more unlockable graphics to collect. You can buy it now at:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/251990
If you've already purchased from hanakogames.com, you can use your existing license key to claim a free Steam code at:
http://nettle.spikycaterpillar.com/
If you do add the game to your library, we'd appreciate it if you could take a moment to recommend the game to your friends, it really does help us out.
Thanks to everyone for your support that brought us this far!

Re: LLTQ now out on Steam!
I'd just like to thank Hanako Games. I had lost my license and couldn't get my steam key. I provided them with my invoice and they quickly responded and resent the email with the license in it. I've enjoyed both Magical Diary and Long Live the Queen and look forward to playing some of your other games. Thanks again, and now I'm off to play LLTQ on steam.

Re: LLTQ now out on Steam!
I can't get trading cards, because Steam won't count my time spent playing. This makes me sad...

Re: LLTQ now out on Steam!
I think we're working on at least one of the situations that's causing that - since that's a steam-only issue it's probably best to keep discussion of that on the Steam forums so we can organise all the errors in one place.

Hopefully we'll be able to get that working.

Steam trading cards are silly, anyways. But if you can't live without them, give it time, surely they will implement them correctly soon.

Well... I have the GOG version. Can I have a Steam version too or I must buy again?.

You don't have to be so condescending. Look at it as a bug report.Sachiko wrote:Steam trading cards are silly, anyways. But if you can't live without them, give it time, surely they will implement them correctly soon.

If you're using Linux, it should be fixed.Franka wrote:I can't get trading cards, because Steam won't count my time spent playing. This makes me sad...
If it's not fixed for you, which OS/version are you using, and what renderer is the game set to? (Parts of the Steam API break down in software rendering, and LLtQ isn't compatible with an awful lot of card/driver combinations)
Re: LLTQ now out on Steam!
Using win8, tried both software and Open GL. I can also start multiple instances of the game from Steam.

Re: LLTQ now out on Steam!
I've gotten a report that the game won't correctly count ingame time if it's set to run as administrator on Win7 (so that would presumably also apply to 8 and Vista.)
Re: LLTQ now out on Steam!
I want to buy the game so much... however I know Steam sales will occur soon for the winter. Will the game go on sale on this site as well? I prefer to buy direct when possible. I know $10 isn't much, but being laid off and trying to get a tablet for my sister (she has Down's and there's a communications program only available for Ipad that she's had really good luck with for expressing). Here's hoping that the other games eventually make it onto Steam as well!
Also, if you ever need anyone in the future, I'm available for proofreading. Currently working on a more erotic-based ongoing flash project but I honestly enjoy reading scripts and fixing things.
