Looks like that error came with a high Dance score.

Newest beta (1.1.17) should fix those errors as well as apply the right background for reports on Julianna when the strangler is pardoned.

Anyone yet found Evrard, married Evrard, or changed your father's fate?

I've met Evrard, but he didn't marry me...

You need to meet him more than once to get the option to pick him in the marriage considerations (although even that is not a guarantee to actually marry him)

Yea, I got him as an option at the end, but she ended up not marrying him.

I successfully changed Joslyn's fate! I didn't know it was possible to have more feelings for him and everything he does for Elodie but you did it. (inconsistency in that subplot: you can ask Joslyn about the cabal of evil lumens just after you imprison the rogue lumen but before he escapes and actually starts up the rumors.)

(Also, when you chose to ask Maree and Hellas about Julianna (whether you want her dead or alive), Joslyn's "As you wish" is missing a period.)
Also also, I just found Evrard on week 14 and the game threw an error at me. I submitted a traceback on that one already.

Okay, I did a quick military battle run, and the barracks seemed to have worked quite well. (And it did make mood management less stressful, but not too the point it was too easy.) And I quite liked the additional climbing skill check (climbing = 60, for the curious) and additional touches that came with it. I was a little sad to see that I didn't the only change in the message for the barracks after defeating Shanjia was taking away the troop numbers. Perhaps there could be a sobering message about the lost lives, or a happy, rewarding one about them celebrating?

I've met Alice, but not married her. I do think having an actual character do all those little events is much nicer than a faceless servant. I haven't yet met Ervard, but I'm planning to search for him in my next game.

If you're still open to suggestions for new content:
*I'd like to second a checklist of potential marriage candidates.
*Rather than more marriage candidates, could we get new epilogues or scenes with some existing ones? (Or even give them faces! That would be exciting.) For instance, a meeting with Anciet at Gwenelle's party, or an additional epilogue for Banion if you refuse to dance with him, pass the conversation check, and then choose him at the end.
*Additional ways to affect how the commoners see lumen.

And thanks again for adding all this incredible new content, and asking our opinions on it besides! It's super cool of you.

Posting again to say that my game stopped working after I decided to push Julianna to explain herself. "An exception has occurred" and whatnot.

I married Evrard, basically you just gotta impress him, I think. I don't care for his route much though. Gonna go on a Julianna - lumen - father changing - alice dating - path soon.

Is it an option to invite the Duke of Sedna to the dance? If it isn't, it should be!

The Gala is a Novan event, no forrins allowed. :)

As for Evrard, he's got about five different outcomes - if you're suspicious and cruel, if you're suspicious and unpopular, if you're suspicious and not notably unpopular, if you're trusting and unpopular, if you're trusting and all the people of Nova like you.

Have people successfully eliminated Julianna and figured out what happens in the epilogue because of it?

Elodie's sprite's crown randomly disappeared right before I got my epilogue this time. :/ But I did manage to get Alice's epilogue, so it's all good.

If you mean during the coronation? She's supposed to not have the crown showing until the very end of that sequence, it's always been that way. :) Because I don't have an animation for the crown being placed on her head, she starts the scene bare and then gets the crown added at the end.

When you got an exception-occuring, was there a traceback to upload or did it just crash out? Having the actual error message helps track it down.

Really? Wow. And I've played this game how many times? >_<

There's a traceback. Hang on, I saved the choice preceding it. (By the way, on my second playthrough I got through that scene just fine, so I don't know what caused it the first time around.) Alright, I've uploaded it.

now in beta - 1.1.16
New character Evrard added - there are SEVERAL epilogue variants, I get carried away. As this character can easily be missed entirely, start by looking in the paths where you allow Julianna to stay at the castle and teach you.
Some new tests of Climbing skill, including one in the naval battle.
Unlockable weekend activity to Tour the Barracks, which lets you check your military strength.
Commoners are now more disapproving of you accidentally summoning a sea monster

Ability to assign agents to hunt for Julianna after she escapes from the dungeons, if you have enough intrigue to assign agents. This opens up a handful of subplots, including an interesting conversation with Brin, the ability to convince your father that there really is a secret cabal of evil lumens, and a new resolution to the duel with Togami

---

Please look over these things and tell me if you encounter any problems! In particular please test the Barracks option - is this new option making mood management too easy? Is the reporting giving weird results at any point? Since that data wasn't originally visible to the player we may not have always remembered to update it when events happen so it should be checked.
Those two in particular look very exciting. Playing a militant non-Lumen Elodie is just too fun.

Latest patch (beta 1.1.20) is just bugfixes, no amazing new stuff, but please do update to it if you're testing.

Missing period in As you wish
Intrigue check with Evrard should now work
Lumen cabal conversation should now only happen after the rumors start
Pressing Julianna for more information (Lore + Conversation check) should now work
Challenging Evrard should give the correct menu option
Indentation fix on Evrard's dossier
