I love how in this game Elodie knows NOTHING! Everything you think you knew, toss it out the window! Elodie has been living in hole for 14 years and how did she not know how her mother truly died?

Boarding school will do that to you. I speak from experience.

Also, no phones, no internet, no TV.... word of mouth gets distorted very quickly.

As far as her mother's death was concerned, I always figured either they didn't realize what had really happened or someone (Maybe Joslyn, maybe Togami) was trying to cover it up. Elodie had probably been yanked straight out of school anyway and had heard only what her father had told her about it. (which wasn't much)

As far as why she is unaware of things like the basic geography or history of her own kingdom your guess is as good as mine.

Exactly! What were they teaching her in boarding school? Also why does she need court manners to know if a man sends her a pretty necklace it means something.

What were they teaching her in boarding school?
... Great works of Novan literature? :)

(Quick, try to think of some aspect of education that isn't covered in the game stats so that we can pretend she was learning it)

Cooking? Poetry? I think you got everything else you could possibly learn in her time in there. OH! I bet she skipped class all the time!

Obviously, she was learning advanced algebra. Should have gone with business math, the poor thing.
I've been here so long even Hanako is sick of me

Boarding school is terribly depressing. Maybe they were trying to teach her Court Manners and failing miserably?

How could you learn that and still not know anything about other counties and their history. Well I guess we could say she learned writting, spelling and grammer. Oh! She could have been doing advanced science!

Theoretical physics. :p

The problem is that it's a public boarding school. Pretty much none of those kids come out knowing anything, and those that do, learned it more in spite of the school, rather than because of it.

Another item for my personal checklist:

Have you released a kraken to sink a fleet of pirates?

Good stuff.

The sheer number of skills listed/used is very impressive.

Thinking about it, one might consider hand-to-hand combat such as boxing/savate/etc. Although, wrestling might fall under flexibility ;)

The only other skills I can think of would be for the criminally inclined: stealth, tracking, picking locks/traps...
