Killed out of nowhere?!

#1 Post by Rhidian » Tue Jun 05, 2012 5:40 am

So... at the end of my uber-princess playthrough, I get the decision to sacrifice Charolette to the Kraken. However, one week or so afterwards (on week 38 ), I get this message:

You wake up in the middle of the night. Something is terribly wrong.
You call for your maid, and then freeze as you realise - you can't hear yourself speak. You can't hear anything.
The feeling of darkness grows...
... and then there is nothing.
Elodie did not survive to reach her coronation. Nova would have to go on without her. But it doesn't have to end this way. Make different choices, train different skills, and Elodie's star may rise again!

No checks. No warnings beforehand. Just dead.

Plot-related. Somebody didn't appreciate the choice you just made regarding your cousin!

... Who do you know that has the power to kill you dead with silent magic who might be kinda ticked off about that?

I appreciated it... I was trying to kill off as many people as possible.

I suppose I'll have to change the death list a little bit.

On that would one kill Charlotte's mother, still know she's got magic, and still be able to fight the kraken?
I've been here so long even Hanako is sick of me

@Oki: There's a way around it.

Get your Sense Magic up. Also, make sure that Lucille is dead, or that you're planning to Execute her regardless (by hiring the Musician Spy).

Talk to Julianna. You will recruit the High Priestess Selene as a Lumen.
