I came up with that after :

A. Staying up too late then.
B. Having one too many Dr. Peppers full of caffeine.
C. Rewatching the "Canterlot Wedding" episodes.

That's how I usually come up with most of my ideas.

Crazy theories can be fun, but I don't think there's any in game evidence to support that.
