Why are some phrases in Spanish? I've seen two of them I'm no sure if there are more. But it made me curious. n_n
"Y a pesar de que no estás, te llevo cosida a mi piel.

Y aunque nunca volverás, busco en el trastero de mi
ese beso abandonado que nunca te di."

To give a slightly-less-snarky answer, it's just a minor character reminding the audience that she's Hispanic. It doesn't happen much, and hopefully doesn't come across quite as ridiculous as some of the examples in that trope. :)
