Run Time Error Help

#1 Postby faerirose » Sun Aug 29, 2010 3:57 pm

I got this error once while playing the game and it shut down the game immediately (I'm trying to get Raphael's endings so I think it deals with the point when Janet decides she likes him). I thought it was an isolated incident so I played again, but I got the same error. Are there any programmers out there who can tell me how to fix it so I don't have to reinstall the game? Thanks muchly! Sarah

I'm sorry, but an exception occured while executing your Ren'Py

Try replacing C:\Program Files\Date Warp\renpy\python.py with the python.py from http://spikycaterpillar.dreamhosters.com/datewarp/patches/1.1.1/python.py and seeing if that fixes the problem.

I haven't run into this crash before, so it's possible that there's some other underlying problem that needs to be fixed - what section of dialog were you at when it crashed?
