Science Girls - A brief guide to the Bosses (Spoilers)

Scurrying Slirrup Difficulty:

This is the first "boss" you will face, but it is optional since it appears in the west side in the junior school before you enter the alien world. This boss is so annoying that it can take over twenty fights before taking it out. Every time you fight it, the situation will be one of the following: Escape, seed then escape, or stay for some turns before escape. It never attacks, only seed, which can be countered easily using Better Slingshot. If it escapes, it runs to somewhere else and you have to follow it until you kill it. Killing it gives you plenty of doughnuts.

Gertigator Diffculty: *

This is the first boss which is capable of defeating your party. It can suck in one of your characters then spew her out onto another, which causes considerable damage. The most annoying move is that it can retreat and summon other mobs to fight you, and it will return after you destroy the summoned mobs. But that's all of it and its attacks aren't very strong. Just cast Egg Cage on the front row then blast it with Lightning and Nerve Pinch, which is by far the best damage output at that time. A few shots and it is out.

Treeman 1 Diffculty: *

In this battle you face a dormant treeman with two podders. The podders hit very hard and they heal themselves and the treeman up to full whenever they are damaged. The only thing you can do is to survive for some turns. The best way to do it is to cast Egg Cage, and Affirmation if possible on front row and have Jennifer healing. Just stay alive and the battle is over.

Power Plant Difficulty: **

This boss is accompanied by two spires, which heals the main boss when it is damaged. All of them can charge up and hit some big damage, but you can reduce the damage significantly using Egg Cage again. This boss is very low on hitpoints, only 145, while the spires have 105. Take out the spires first, then move on the main plant.

Snapdragon Difficulty: ***

Snapdragon is much more powerful than any boss you have faced so far. It has a whooping 320 hitpoints, and with two podders healing it. It has two main moves, one is to focus on a character and hits really hard, another is a flame attack which hits everyone in front row. Again, Egg Cage is essential, without it a focused attack can hit over 20. Having Egg Cage can also effectively reduce flame attack to 1-7 damage. Again, finish the podders first, then onto the main boss. Remember to kill the boss with a finisher, since it grants a lot of bonus experience which immediately gives you a level.

Treeman 2 Difficulty: ****

This time the podders no longer heal themselves, just the treeman. The treeman stay dormant until the podders are defeated, but even so the podders are powerful foes. They can easily hit above 15 if you don't have Egg Cage on. After their death, the treeman awakes and start to wreak havoc on your party. It can hit over 10 even through Egg Cage, and it has Pollinate, which either damage, drains SP or hypnotizes your whole party. Having Egg Cage on and Jennifer at the front row are essential, they can save your life. Have Nicole using Lightning and yourself using Psycho-Analysis, and it will be out eventually. Killing it with a finisher grants 500 bonus experience, which is another level.

Chive Mind - Nicole Difficulty: *******
Chive Mind - Others Difficulty: *****

Strange enough, this final boss is probably the weakest boss on its own, its strength is its huge army of Grex and two Dreamworm. The boss itself can use any skill the girl has, and absorbs hitpoints from other Grex if it has none left. Note that the boss has a certain amount of SP, which runs out very quickly, after that it can only do basic attacks. Dreamworms can hypnotize, thus take them out as quick as possible. Grex hits hard and after Pulsate, they can engulf your characters, which is very deadly as it disables them temporily and exposes the other unbuffed characters. The mobs rearrange themselves regularly so the one you are focusing on may move to the back row and become unreachable.
If Chive Mind captures Nicole, you are going to have a really hard time beating it. With your main damager down, Jennifer and yourself (probably Andrea too) become attackers in the party, yet they are no where as effective as Nicole. The trick is to try to focus on one Grex each time, even though they will move away repeatedly. Use Self-doubt may help, since it decolourizes the target and let you know which target you are focusing on. Have Andrea using Grenade, you using Psycho-Analysis, Jennifer using Nerve Pinch, and of course, Heather to Egg Cage everyone - yes, everyone, since after engulf the back row characters will be exposed. The more Grex you have taken out, the easier it will become. If you run out of SP (which will happen very soon), don't hesistate to use ALL your food available as this is the final fight.
If Chive Mind captures other girls instead, your time is much easier. Have Nicole repeat Big Bang infinitely. If you have upgraded it, you can finish the battle in three to four turns, if not, it takes longer, but still way shorter than without Nicole. Just muster all your SP food to restore Nicole's SP and blow all of them into ashes.
When all minions are dead, and boss losing all its hitpoints, it will do one last move, which absorb hitpoint from one of your characters. After that it is done.
Remember if you use Psycho-Analysis on the boss, the captured girl will execute a super move to help you in the battle, for example, Nicole will cast Lightning on all enemies, while Missy will put every enemy to sleep.

I just wanted to add something: The Junior school has two rooms with only one door on the lowest level so it's possible to trap it there. I don't know whether this works everytime but it's possible, through clever combination and maybe luck, to trap it in one of the rooms and then block the door thus making it impossible to escape. That's how I got it.
It tried to escape every round but when that wasn't possible it attacked.
