Cute Knight Kingdom Christmas Contest

#1 Post by hanako » Sun Dec 13, 2009 3:57 pm

Strapped for cash this holiday season? Here's your chance to win a free copy of CKK!

There will be at least one winner, possibly more. How many winners depend on how many people enter, so bring your friends.

To enter, you must:

1. Post in this thread before December 25!!! (Once per person) See below about what to post.

2. Have made at least 10 non-spam posts on the forum (this is to stop people from creating tons of new accounts to enter. Don't have 10 posts yet? Go comment on someone's fanfic or something!)

3. Have a working email address attached to your account so I can email you if you win.

---

What to post:

The name and career of a fantasy character you would enjoy being. ("Clarissa the heroic paladin" or whatever.) These are NOT being judged, they're just to entertain anyone who looks at this thread to see who's entered so far. A bunch of "ME!" posts wouldn't be very interesting to read!

Lily the murderess!
Men cannot resist my beauty and marry me at whim, only to be killed by me the next day. My lawyer is great, though, and gets me free and all of my dead husband's money! He's also my lover... but is careful to never marry me.

If I had the option to switch
I'd surely choose Vini the witch.
She's a merry fellow
who rides on a cello
and has quite a liking for kitsch.

Mezra the dancer

Because I belly dance for fun in real life and my life would just be awesome if I could do it as a career.

Scarlett the Sorceress

Her magic is as strong and fiery as her red hair. But don't make her angry, or you may get set ablaze!

The mage-type character is always my favorite in every game :)

Ariel the Assassin

She's beautiful. She's silent. She's deadly. Moving quickly through the night, she aims for a cheating wife, or an ambitious earl, or a bothersome first son, and then... she is gone.

((I love characters like this. It's why I love Assassin's Creed. xD)

Time for me to enter as well (and hoping that I get lucky lol):

My fantasy character-

Charlotta the White Mage

She has the ability to cast purification spells to heal the sick and wounded and to cast off many dark magic spells. Her powers are tough to master, the accumulation of generations of skilled mages before her. But once mastered, she's a hurricane unable to be stopped. ^^
Please help and support me here.

Iphigenia the Mystic

She communes with nature, but can also harness its fury.

I'll admit I am plagarising a bit here as this is a character from my favourite fantasy series Tales of the Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson (read it - best books I've ever read!).

Apsalar the Assassin, once possessed by Cotillion the Patron God of Assassins, beautiful (natch) and deadly, a Shadow Dancer (assassin/mage) to rival Cotillion himself, troubled by her own deadly skills, sent her love away as she regretted seducing him into her way of life.

Couldn't have come up with a better one than that myself, lol.

Hmm....I'll pick Urd the Second class Goddess from Oh, My Goddess. She's powerful but lacks control and refused her license when she finally did pass the test, because she wanted to choose who she protects along with her sisters. She is knowlegable about potions and could possibly be on the most powerful Goddesses on earth if her first class powers were unsealed. Making her all the more cooler to me. Plus I love her hair :)

Oh wait, are we suppose to be maid up character? In that case...

I'd be Rhea the healer. She is able to control plant life and cure all illness using herbs and potions made of the earth. She is one with the earth and is constant battle to save it and keep it pure for the next generation. Rhea wishes for nothing more than for people to live in perfect harmony with the earth, but until that day comes she will continue to fight the good fight.

And Rhea happens to be my name too.
