Thanks for the help - unfortunately, I haven't been able to track down the original cause of the bug. :( Has anyone else encountered it (or similar bugs where cracked lava tiles fail to finish cooling)? If you have encountered lava tile bugs, I want all your volcano-level savegames, including any wh...

The Windows version will run on Linux under Wine; if you want to run it natively you can download the Linux demo, copy the files from the installed fullbuild into the demo folder, overwriting where appropriate, and then run ./ScienceGirls!-Demo.sh . (Which will actually run the full version since th...

Walk to areas you can reach while it cools. It'll take several steps for the lava to cool enough to cross.

Yes, it has SP (a few other monsters do as well, but it's not directly exposed for them.)

You're on the right track (I'm not sure if it's beatable without buffing, really). Resist the temptation to start in on EE right away - you want Egg Cages on Heather and Jennifer at least. (And also Affirmation, but that's not quite as critical.) And it doesn't hurt to debuff GrexAndrea. Also, one o...

Science Girls - Maps of the confusing maze

I've gotten a couple requests for maps of the maze, so here are links to them. (If you'd rather figure out the maze on your own, or don't want to know where you'll encounter it, don't select the text below and don't follow the links.) Once you fix the wormhole and jump in, you'll wind up in a maze l...

From the map (in fullscreen mode, with the cursor hiding), press F6 and type narrator(str(renpy.game.interface.display.mouse)) narrator(str(renpy.store.mouse_visible)) narrator(str(renpy.game.interface.focused)) - what are the results? Does adding a nomouse.rpy file to the game/ directory with the f...

Oops! I'd accidentally left an extra stairway unit in the wrong place on the map. http://spikycaterpillar.dreamhosters.com/patches/tunnel_exit+bug.jpg To work around the bug, don't step on the red-circled space on the map. To actually fix it for good, replace your flooralientunnel2.map with the one ...

Re: Linux: no mouse

I'm trying out the demo version, and the game keeps talking about clicking on things, but there is no mouse cursor visible anywhere. Does this game support the mouse at all? It's supposed to! (And the mouse works on my Debian Lenny machines without any problem, so this is definitely a bug.). Does t...
