Such a hard choice, but I have to go with Gaston. So magnificently camp and passionate, but the clincher is his happy ending. Such a sweet man.

Just bought it. Just started. Oh my God, this game is gorgeous. Looking forward to... well, everything.

How so? I played Recettear, and loved it, but it seems an odd comparison to me.

I always assumed there was a gym teacher, but that they weren't important enough to come on-screen.

That could have been a hilarious subplot. Either have Mary Sue trying to hook Damien and William up for her own amusement, or Mary Sue teasing Ellen's fangirl squee with the notion.

Or maybe he was performing illegal experiments with time, space, and dimensions and now periodically swaps bodies with his alternate-universe female self. Perhaps when exposed to hot and cold water. And Angela, I think her name was? She couldn't deal with that and broke up with him. It all fits!

Not really, no. There are a few points where characters get what you might call a moment if you squint your eyes and look at it sideways, but there's not really any romance in there.

Clearly, the William we see in the game is a doppelganger who replaced the real William years ago in order to be as perfect as possible so that he can infiltrate [mostly] human magical society and plant seeds of powerful mind control magicks in the next generation of mages.

That sounds like something that may be more explore in future games.
