there is already an in game tracking system its the log feature ...and if you get a bad ending you can say save game and it will load up a page that has notes on what you did for that play trough The logs are somewhat messy, though. I'd like it to be streamlined and contain all info learned. And ye...

Weird half-assed, off-topic post - I ran into the Hanako Game devs at Fanime and I REALLY can't remember if Magical Diary was being sold by them. I think all the games were ten bucks, though.

As a raging cheater, I'd have to agree with Hanako here, even though watching my princess think it's a brilliant idea to gobble random chocolate or shove arrows into her innards is infuriating.
