Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

Red: Believed to work: Breeze Push Spark Slash Blast Crush Partially working: Energise Flames Freeze Lightning Force Push Known broken: Shockwave Blue: Believed to work: Light S...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

Edit: Oh, one more thing! This is mostly just a... continuity error, I suppose? I guess it counts as that? Ellen complains about how "if they said I had to use a spell, I would have!", but dungeon 3 clearly said "You must use magic to locate the path to the exit" ...I mean, it might not be incorrec...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

With that said, I do have a question. Does drawing character X during the Secret Santa selection mean I am on her romance route? No. In fact, back in Horse Hall it meant you were less likely to be able to pursue that character's route, as the person you would get for Secret Santa would be the perso...

Re: Kickstarter + Early Demo

What side romances are planned? Will there be a summary of the potential characters for Kickstarter backers?

Re: Kickstarter + Early Demo

I hope that the final game will not force the PC to study all five classes for the first week. I loved how in Horse Hall, PCs could get in trouble for focussing all of their attentions upon 1 colour - and choose how to react to that trouble.

Nazagi, eh? He strikes me as silk for good and evil. Well, silk is often good in love. I shall have to try him.

Help with updating game

I have LLtQ v 0.6.9 and whenever I try to update it to 0.7.4, I get the following error message: I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred. While running game code: AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'filename' -- Full Traceback ---------------------------------------------------...

Hanako, I post on lemmasoft forums as lemuel, and what I said there still applies: If ever you need a beta reader for this game after April 25 (ugh, exams), please do not hesitate to contact me. I have a fairly advanced vocabulary (although not at Lovecraft levels), a good knowledge of when to use a...

That would be a bit of a nuissance to program considering how many there are, not to mention the problem of laying it out. Not necessarily. Say we have a list like so: Character Deeds Relationship Status Duke A I insulted him at a ball, Maternal Uncle Wary Duke B I barely know him Father's Friend N...

Well then, how about a family tree that merely reflects the gossip that she learns?

and a political chart to cover what she knows about dukes' relationships with each other and other countries (to say nothing of other countries' relations with her country)?

Maybe the game could have a genealogical chart that grows and reflects the princess's knowledge of her family? It would be a lot of work, I am aware, but it would allow players to keep track of the characters in such a way as to reflect what the character knows without spoiling anything.
