Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

The expressions on Pastel's side image and full image don't match on her "I knew you looked familiar." line.

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

What is the obscure option?
I was referring to communicating with the Loveland Frog in the silver chalice dungeon. A Kiss option will appear if you have a pc with the Flirty trait.

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

This was an interesting update. As for Ellen: I figured Musette either a) was a ghost because she did herself in with her experiments in technomancy, or b) was alive but her experiments put her out of phase with this dimension in a way that made her seem like a ghost. Her actual situation is much mo...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

Typo when Gary is thinking about buying a birthday gift for William: I remember the wolf's-head bracelet gave me for Initiation in the fall. Bizarre Dispel Object bug: If I cast it on the portal, it loses its enchantment and I have no choice but to give up in order to get out of the dungeon. But onc...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

Yes, the medallion is present at the top of the screen if you go to the practice dungeon after getting the medallion but failing the exam. You will also see the medallion (described as "A large golden disk with mysterious carvings") when you select "Inventory" on the Sundays before the week begins.

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

"resarching" typo in the follow-up scene with Ellen after the Dark Dance. Waldenbooks went bankrupt in 2011. B. Dalton's went bankrupt in 2010. I flunked the portal exam and discovered that I still had the medallion in my inventory. Is that supposed to happen? I enjoy the references to characters th...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

My thoughts about the side romance candidates: Logan: I like him, but this is Luke's time to shine! We can play magical strip poker with Logan some other game! (Oops, did I just screw up and accidentally make the case for him?) Jacob: A side romance with him would have some interesting effects on th...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

Donald leaves before actually giving permission to Virginia's request. At the end of the bouquet scene, the line "Can I help with anything?" is followed by "So, is there anything I can help you with?". Delete the Can I help line before jumping to the next label? Maybe a codex entry for the tetronarc...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

The game will crash after exiting the first dungeon if you have the transitions turned off.

Re: Magical Diary: Wolf Hall

I'd cut Grabner's "I am a living reminder--" line. The length of his sequence is out of sync with the pacing of the other ones and his dialogue will have more dramatic punch if you leave the first line out. Was thrilled to see the individual at the 28 second mark, if she's who I think she is.

Re: Elsa

The main problem I have with the choose-every-response style of interaction is that the protagonist's responses are usually limited to a single sentence. It's difficult to describe one's feelings or experiences within such a small space and providing more choices doesn't necessarily solve the proble...
