Re: Dirty Cheating

Discussed slightly in this thread: http://hanakoforum.nfshost.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2590 Magic has two variables controlling it, a temporary and a permanent one (this is in case of equipment modifiers). If you set the temp value it'll change right away but it will reset afterwards; if y...

Re: [SPOILERS] Post-year situation

They're not all lost... At least two relationships explicitly do follow you home, and a few others have strong potential to visit you in the near future.

Re: is there a debug console?

In code probably not - you could track the 'points' for characters that have them because those have straightforward names, but with other things there are so many individual flags that might or might not get checked later, I don't think there's any convenient way to see EVERY variable. On the other...

Re: Personalities

If you're tied there are some dialog sections where you can get multiple comments from different personality types and some where it will just pick one; this depends on the flow of the conversation, as it may not make sense to say all the comments one after the other. This only applies if it's a sec...

Re: Finally played it!...I have questions [spoilery]

It is possible to break up Ellen and Damien without dating Ellen yourself, but it may require a ruthless action.

Re: The changelog thread

1.0.20 changelog: Plot: Should now end Barbara's path properly if you failed catastrophically. More foreshadowing of possible pitfalls on Ellen's path. This includes things like her refusing to go to the fall play with you if you didn't interfere with either her or Damien (in which case she's going ...

Re: The changelog thread

1.0.17 changelog: Dungeon: No longer allow you to target units that you're aware of but can't see directly. Gas improved: better inspection output, behaves a bit more sensibly if you've been moving it around for some reason, no longer reports that gas levels are increasing if they aren't, Spirit Sen...

Re: Walkthroughs/secrets/easter eggs

Spells are only learned in class. Even Minnie can't teach you spells. If a spell randomly popped up somehow that's a bug.

Re: Pastel walkthrough?

Yes, it's fine to make walkthrough threads now. While it's POSSIBLE things will change it's much less likely :)

The Wolf Hall protagonist is deliberately avoiding Pastel, so only on Minnie's route where he's forced to interact with her (because they're roommates) does she come up as an option.

Smooth Criminal

Now that the game is out and you've seen William's dance costume (which was already designed by that point) you can finally understand why I was cracking up at this post many many years ago.

Have you removed the darkness yet? If there's darkness in the way it will rush off to the exit and vanish before you can figure out how to catch up.

Re: [SPOILERS] Post-year situation

Mild clarification: Grabiner says that Iris Academy's magical style is the most European of the American schools... less of a conceptual stretch than other schools would have been. He does not describe it as nearly identical to the PC's own magical style. Just not as different as the other styles wo...

Re: is there a debug console?

There's multiple variables for magic so you probably only found the temporary ones, like I said we'll have time to organise more help for that later.
