Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

Finally have some time to play WH again! Encountered this glitch in the first exam, unless it's been rearranged so that the Sparkle is supposed to be with you from the start? (I could talk to it and whatnot.)

Edit: Also found a typo! "Strenghten" instead of "strengthen."

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

Seconding the "it would be nice if studying with Minnie let you learn the equivalent level spells" thing! I really like the "tutor others to boost your strongest magic" idea from further upthread too! I've never really understood the benefit of studying with Minnie vs studying alone on the weekend -...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

I've finally had some time to play the latest update to Wolf Hall today!! Still making my way through it, but: -When I cast Long Jump in Exam 3, it didn't deplete my MP at all. (Was able to fire off 2 Awarenesses, 2 Lights, & 1 Long Jump with only 30 MP lol!) -Something I've been meaning to me...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

Not necessarily. Would a native English speaker write or say, "Professor Potsdam takes I aside."? No. A native English speaker would write or say, "Professor Potsdam takes me aside.". Would a native English speaker write or say, "Professor Potsdam takes we aside."? No. A native English speaker woul...

"Professor Potsdam takes Minnie and I aside."
should be
"Professor Potsdam takes Minnie and me aside."
Eh, I think that’s subjective! Especially since MC is not a native speaker of English. But even if he were I think either one of those would work fine! ^^

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

(after deleting some posts) Seriously guys, please stop? It's causing distress for multiple forum members. I feel bad about asking people to hush but - it's becoming emotionally uncomfortable for ME here. And I'm nominally the one in control. :) Everyone is entitled to their own feelings and to fee...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

Oh yeah, wanted to be on the record just so I could crow if I'm right or laugh at myself if I'm wrong, but I think the red-haired person you glimpse spying on you during Thanksgiving break is either Musette or Angela ! (And may I add while I'm here that I am SO HYPE to get more of the Musette story,...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

Just saw the new content with Minnie if you declined her deal - I really like the option to call her out for lying about the MC, that was really cathartic lol! I think it could also be a good opportunity to mention that English is the MC's second language, so it's even more unfair that Minnie ascrib...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

It's not the day after traveling from Europe, he's been in the US for a week (says so in the beginning) - he was touring with his parents. So no jet lag, just the tiredness of being in a taxi for a while. And the choice about needing to rest on the first day also doesn't have any effect. :) As that...

Re: Wolf Hall - Development Testing Thread

The relevant choices are generally things like explicitly saying "I don't want to do any work" or "I hate getting up in the morning", and the automatic dialog related to that personality type is usually things like "I would rather sleep". While this could be described as a "Low Energy" personality ...

Re: Lazy Alternative

Hi, So I just started playing the demo (I know, I've had a while and it's ridiculous that I'm just now doing it), and I was just wondering if you considered changing the "lazy" label to something else ("apathetic" or "aloof" or something like that). Seconding this!! The connotations of "lazy" being...

For my own sanity I am stepping over my usual moderator bounds and editing your past message slightly to mark a section as spoilers.
Whoops, sorry about that! I really should reread my posts more closely before submitting, especially first thing in the morning.
